As I mentioned this morning in my email. I didn’t do a good job of managing my RIOT Aug 4 $19 calls.
I had several chances this week to sell them but never did. I had a small position and though Coin earnings would prove the catalyst.
Buy, it didn’t and I didn’t do a good job of conveying my mindset on this small position. That’s my fault.
This morning it was my plan to sell these and roll into the RIOT SEP 15 $20 calls. But RIOT couldn’t hold over $18.
So I decided against it. That said, these RIOT AUG 4 $19 calls will expire worthless. There is nothing for you to do, they will just go to zero.
Please know I rarely let my contracts expire worthless. Setting your stop and sticking to it is an important discipline.
This was a rare occurrence and a mistake on my part even with the circumstances. I’ll own it and do better. This is how we grow. Hard lessons
But heads up, it was a funky week, there will be another.
